Job description
About the team We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our digital and data team at Ofqual. Now is a hugely exciting time to be part of the government digital and data team at Ofqual. We’re transforming the way that we deliver our services by placing the right emphasis on product delivery using user centred design principles. We put our users needs first, and by working with our talented product owners, user researchers and interaction designers, you’ll make informed decisions to deliver business value, failing fast, iterating, and continuously improving our services so that they meet - and exceed – todays, and the future needs of all our users. You’ll do this by drawing on your own product management and leadership skills, while working within the GOV.UK Service Manual and Service Standard. What will the post holder be doing? You will be responsible for directly managing multiple products or in some instances a single product that is especially complex, high risk or sensitive alongside leading and managing the product management profession at Ofqual. You will ensure that security is considered at the earliest stages of the development process and that you raise awareness of security among developers and other stakeholders. This is an opportunity to provide leadership and direction, sharing and communicating a cohesive vision for the products and services with stakeholders and the Ofqual digital and data team. You will understand and apply the principles of Ofqual's corporate plan in your work, ensuring that there is a clear and consistent connection between your work and Ofqual's corporate goals. You will also provide leadership and promote a shared understanding of how strategic and operational objectives are linked to the vision and mission. |
